PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Is low-carbon cobalt base hardfacing casting rods which results weld metal with good high temperature strength and high ductility. It deposits has high resistance to corrosion, oxidation, and sulphidation, also better resistance in thermal shock and cavitation-erotion than high carbon types.

APPLICATIONS AND MATERIALS TO BE WELDED

Used for surfacing of carbon steels, low-alloy steels, stainless steels or nickel based alloys when thermal shock resistance combined with good resistance to abrasion, erosion, corrosion and compressional stresses up to 900 ºC is needed.

Typical applications include guide rolls, hot extrusion and forging dies, hot shear blades, tong bits, valves and valve seats.
